Idea #77: What should evendea focus on?

I started this blog to consolidate all tech and product ideas that comes to my mind. Somewhere along the way I digressed into other topics and started writing about pretty much anything. Perhaps I ran out of ideas. Since last couple of months that blog has been dormant and I want to revive it now. I need to focus on a certain broad topic that will give sufficient to write about but at the same time it should be a topic of interest. Usually I am interested in food, current affairs, technology, web products, politics, money, India and spirituality. Can you suggest what I should pick?

Idea #75: One Wish...

Sometimes I get this thought, that some day I will sit with God and hear from him, the true story of the Universe. It's like hearing the script of an epic movie from the director himself. In this case the director happens to be God, narrating the greatest story ever.

Idea #68: Understanding the origins of the Universe, Science or Nonsense?

Somehow I find this attempt by scientists to understand the origin of Universe through physics, maths, experiments and telescopes rather pointless. Don't know what exactly they hope to acheive. Moreover the Universe that these scientists are referring to is their "very limited" idea of it, which they call the observable Universe and they have estimated that it came into being some 13.2billion years ago. So what about 13.3 billion years ago or for that matter 50billion years ago? The Universe was not there? Of course it was there, it has always been there and it will always be there...but perhaps in different ways, forms and features than of today's Universe. The Universe is a constantly changing entity and my humble submission is that it's impossible to gain all knowledge, ever, about the Universe in it's entireity and actuality. Science is a very powerful tool but should focus it's efforts solely on general well being of all forms of life and in spearding happiness across, don't know how spending billion of dollars on things like the Large Hadron Collidor to recreate the big bang conditions fits into the scheme of things. Puzzles me!

Idea #67: Experience through words

When experiences are translated to words the essence of the experience is lost in translation. This I believe is the bane of all religions. They have converted profound spiritual experiences into words, words which can never replace the experience. It is a travesty on God's omnipresence when all the world's religions have condensed his presence into books and idols and worship them instead of experiencing his presence.

Idea #61: Gmate..

I think in some 25 to 50 years Google, artificial intelligence and natural language interfacing with computers would have evolved so much that Google will release a product which I call "Gmate" (Google, you are free to use this name!)

Gmate is your friend, it can either be a doll or an iRobot like humanoid robot with which you can talk, get things done exactly like how you would interact with humans. Google will do this entirely through the massive repository of information, user data and intelligence that they would have gathered by then. The information bank will be so massive that Google will know everything that needs to be known about an individual. Using this data they will create customised Gmates.

What you do think? Is this realistic? I feel there is no need to even predict this, it's almost a given.

Idea #60: The Folly of Spiritual Experiences...

I just had a thought that in the pursuit of God one should not expect spiritual and mystical experiences and one should not have fixed notions of the absolute. The idea of God is beyond logical and rational interpretations, in fact the pursuit of God or reality is a bit of a misnomer because the reality is only releaved and one cannot make claims to that reality by knowledge or by effort. God can be anything at anytime and anywhere.

Idea #59: God and the Creation..

Today I had an interesting discussion and heard from a wise learned person an idea about God and creation that quite appealed to me. He said that when there was no creation God was in His original state and that was the state of absolute love and bliss. The overflowing energy of that pure condition was so immense that there was an outburst of creative energy with which the physical universe and conciousness came into being.

As abstract and unscientific as the above may sound somehow this explanation appealed to me. What do you think about this topic?

Idea #53: Be lazy and disinterested..

I have a theory that being lazy and disinterested is not such a bad thing. Currently it's just a vague idea but I intend to develop my thought around it. What are your views on this topic?

Idea #51: Save my beloved country..

Amidst a shameful verdict in a molestation case and an ex DGP’s creepy smile, the death of 30 people due to a poorly constructed bridge that collapsed, riots and violence in Andhra, a shamefully abandoned cricket match due to a poor pitch and the ‘alleged’ sex scandal of a 86 years old governor……India celebrated Christmas and waits with bated breath for the new year….please someone save my beloved country!!
